The public is invited to honor our veterans at Huntington Town Hall, Sunday, May 26, 2019, at 9:00 AM on Huntington Veterans Plaza, 100 Main Street, Huntington, in commemoration of Memorial Day. Wreaths will be placed at the World War I, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam, and Women’s Veteran Monument and to honor our troops in the Middle East; Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. The Church of Saint Patrick’s Adult Chorale & Children’s Choir will perform patriotic songs. Bethpage Air Show
The 2019 Bethpage Air Show at Jones Beach features high-flying stunts from world-renowned military and civilian performers. Can’t make it to the weekend shows? Head to Jones Beach on Friday, May 24 from 10am to 3pm for a full practice.
Featuring: Sean D. Tucker and the United States Air Force Thunderbirds, the United States Army Golden Knights and more.
The show is free ($10 parking fee, Empire Passports will be accepted). The toll plaza will be closed – cars can pay directly in the parking field.
