A recent visit to watch my son's basketball game led me to find a treasure in my own backyard. Located on Fort Salonga Road, Northsport is situated across from the Stop and Shop In a huge facility. Northsport has offerings for everyone. In fact, I just got a call from a fellow mom looking to find women interested in a ladies basketball league. I told her to count me in!
The site boasts basketball courts and an artificial turf field! The space is super bright and clean! Classes include mommy and me or separation classes for ages ones/twos, twos/threes, threes, and fours/fives. You can choose Multi-Sport classes or Sport Specific Classes for soccer, lacrosse, hockey, and baseball! The class size is usually about 10 kids with three coaches providing individual attention. The manager Mike Nelson is a firm believer in letting parents decide which setting is the best fit for their child even if they are a little older.
Northsport offers sibling discounts, multiple class discounts and referral discounts. Each season has about 11 classes and costs. You can prorate this fee depending on when you start. If you miss classes they allow make ups into the next session which is unique for classes like this!!
