Last Friday Huntington Macaroni Kid got to hang with awesome local families at our Pampers underwear training party at The Long Island Achievement Center. Everyone learned tips for potty training from local author and parenting expert Laurie Hollman PhD about signs of readiness. Did you know our toddlers have object permanence so when their "business" goes down the potty it's very weird for them?
The children had a blast playing games like potty musical chairs and wet and dry.
This is great so they have the language to tell the difference between wet and dry.
Each family left with some awesome Pampers Easy Ups (they come in Dora and Thomas), a reward chart, stickers, crayons, a reward jar full of Happy Baby treats, coupons, The Underwear Book by Todd Parr, and a yellow bucket to carry all of their swag.
It was great to hear all the stories of willful toddlers that have entirely boycotted or who are super interested in the potty. Each phase is perfect and each journey different.

There are also AMAZING rewards in the Pampers Rewards program. Right now Pampers is offering a coupon that you can print at home for $2 off 1 pack of new Pampers Easy Ups Training Pants. You probably need to open a free coupons.com account if you do not already have one.
Pampers Easy Ups new product features are designed to help make the process of graduating from diapers to underwear easier and more fun. Transitioning into underwear is super exciting for every toddler! Keep in mind that this is their accomplishment and celebrate each step!
